🎓 January Flute Lab — Articulation (NG, TK, DG and more)
Join me for a 75-minute live workshop focused on articulation — and how it truly works when breath, tongue, and air are connected.
After a recent reel on NG articulation reached over 10 million views, I realized how much confusion (and curiosity) there still is around tonguing — especially when things get fast.
This Lab is a chance to slow things down, clarify what actually matters, and experience articulation as something supported by the body, not forced by the tongue.
🌬 What We’ll Explore
– The role of NG in articulation and why it’s been so misunderstood
– The importance of which consonant you use for double tonguing (TK, DG, and others)
– The relationship between the back of the tongue and soft palate, and the front of the tongue and teeth
– How articulation rides on the air — not against it
– FLOW-based warmups to reset ease, clarity, and coordination
✅ What’s Included
– 75-minute live Zoom session — Sunday, January 25
– Replay access
– 1-month access to my Patreon community
– Practical articulation exercises you can take directly into your practice
🎯 Who This Is For
Flutists of any level who:
– Feel stuck with articulation or speed
– Get tense or over-control when tonguing
– Want to understand articulation as an embodied, breath-led process — not a set of tricks
